Survey on the use of dictionary in the teaching/ learning of French as foreign language by Gabonese students and teachers. This research presents an empirical study on the use of the dictionary in the teaching/learning of French as a foreign language. This research was carried out at the Lycée National Léon Mba, one of the oldest high schools of Libreville in Gabon. It is based on the assumption that dictionaries are utility products or tools that are, or should be, designed to satisfy certain human needs (Tarp S. 2009: 29). The aim of this article is to present and discuss the research results on the behavior or habits of users in terms of dictionary use in the teaching/learning of French as a Foreign Language.
